Hi there, I hope your week got off to a good start!
I made a quick card today with a sweet little image from Elizabeth Craft Designs. I confess, donuts are one of my favorite food groups so I had fun playing with this little guy!
I stamped the donut from the Cute Food stamp set in Copic-friendly Hero Arts ink onto Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock. I used Y32, YR21, and YR24 for his body and R01, R20, R22, and R24 for the frosting. Since the sprinkles stamped black, I used a white Sakura Gelly Roll pen to turn them into white sprinkles. I used a black Gelly Roll pen to add a bit of dimension and shine to his eyes. Then I used the coordinating die to cut him out.
I used a die cut from the My Favorite Things Stitched Rectangle Stax die set to cut a panel from Neenah Solar White. I stamped the donut’s coordinating sentiment in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and then adhered the donut with foam tape.
For the background I stamped the sprinkles die from the Essentials By Ellen/Concord & 9th collaboration Sweet Sprinkles stamp set in Catherine Pooler Coral Cabana ink around the edges of an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White. I adhered the donut panel with foam tape and then adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base to finish.
Thanks so much for coming by!
